The studio is nestled away on 10 acres out in the Manistee National Forest. Just a few miles east of the Tippy Dam Recreation Area.
The studios outdoor space is ever changing as we work towards making this the perfect all in one location for outdoor portrait photography. In 2021 we added a fully functional greenhouse completely made of recycled materials. In fall 2022 we planted a few hundred bulbs to be used for spring sessions.
In 2022 and again in the spring of 2023 we will be growing perennial summer flowers to add to our woodland landscape.
The studio is just over 600 square feet and is fully stocked with dozens of different designer backdrops, hundreds of hand-made props and much much more.

Hello my name is Julia LeGalley and I am the proud owner of LeGalley Photography!! We officially opened our doors in 2017 though I have been a mom with a camera much longer. I met my husband in high school 18 years ago and he has been stuck with me ever since :) We have been married for 14 years and we have 2 beautiful children. Prior to starting LeGalley Photography, I spent 8 years as a CNA working with Alzheimer and Dementia patients. I believe that is where my true love for photography began. It made me see the importance of capturing the tiny details that often slip away.
